Fall dates are here, and we're happy to say that we will be flocking to the great cities of Philadelphia and Port Chester for the very first time! So if we're in your neck of the woods, come get your beaks wet and boogie down to some animalistic funk. And for the our hometown Reporter Supporters, we're kicking things off at NYC's Bitter End, and returning to Piano's for an surprise-filled Halloween set. Thanks for making this possible, and we hope to see you join the pack on the road!
It took us over half the year to realize, but of course it is! We're planning to celebrate by getting some new music to you somehow, but this rooster is shy and says it's still a secret. Before all this rooster nonsense, it was 2016. Halloween. We went to space, and this moon landing wasn't faked. There's video evidence!
The Reporters are home and cozy after an incredible Catskill Chill 2016, and totally missing all of the beautiful people we met along the way. Big thanks to the sound guys and all the folks who joined us on the DC stage. We Love You and can't wait to see you again soon!
With a little direction, we were able to create new life from what began as just a twinkle in our eye; Gorilla Washington. After months of teaching our creation some NYC street-smarts, we are ready to release this beast into the wild. It's available on CD (limited first-pressing) or digitally on iTunes, Spotify, and Bandcamp. We know you can help give our beautiful baby a caring new home, and Gorilla Washington can't wait to meet you.
Our new record titled Gorilla Washington will be released on Tuesday, May 24th, 2016. We put our blood, sweat and beers into 18 dirty minutes. It was recorded mostly in analog with good ol' tube amps and even a Hammond B3. Join us at our release party on Friday, May 27th at The Mercury Lounge. Keep your ears open for pre-release singles along the way.
New EP tracks are mixed and finalized. Now it's time to master them. Stay tuned for details on the official release date and release party.
